Is it ever possible to love what has murdered you?

What pulls you to the floor each night, what drags you out of bed when you can hardly keep your eyes open.. is that thing worth loving when yet it causes you so much pain?

Perhaps it is just a figment of your imagination-- it's not really killing you, it's all in your head.

And yet you can't help but sense the feeling that it knows it's hurting you.

You can see it in the dirty smile that curls its lips.

But your vision is far from clear- in fact it has fogged over long before now, so even you cannot trust yourself now.

So who is left to trust?

Do you trust this potential murderer? Or do you trust yourself?

But who's to say that they're not the same person?
Honestly I feel like this is about loving a dark side of you or embracing the flawed parts about you (which I'm learning to do really) but it's got a lot of different meanings embedded within this simple entry.

I dunno, I'm just feeling badly lately and I can't seem to fathom why exactly because this feeling just keeps looming over my head.

It depends on the murderer. Some do bad things out of spite, some are merely insane, and some do things on accident. I think that you can learn to love each kind. Loving doesn't mean excusing for the bad...
